Paris is Blue

It has gotten pretty cold in Paris the past week or so. Winter coats have become necessary and the sun has hidden behind the clouds for what seems like forever.

Walking across the Bir Hakim bridge, I saw the blue Eiffel Tower (it has been blue since this past summer to celebrate Sarko being the head of the EU) and thought about what a perfect reflection that is for the way Parisians have been feeling. Everyone in my life seems to be overly stressed and in need of some seriously relaxation and a smile. I think this is the doing of the lack of sun and overpowering cold that has drifted over Paris.
